Today I have my first polish from A Study in Polish. She has an entire collection inspired by the BBC series Sherlock, which you I am completely obsessed with at the moment. I was good and only bought half of them (plus one from her Hobbit collection), but then as soon as they came in the mail and I saw how gorgeous they really were, I ordered the other half. I wasn’t kidding when I told you polish named after my favorite things is my kryptonite.
Consulting detective is a beautiful purple with gold shimmer, gold glitter in different sizes, and small iridescent blue glitter. It is opaque in three coats, but I have a thing with conserving indie polishes (because they can be fairly hard to get), so I layered two coats over Zoya Monica, which matched the base almost perfectly.
I’m kind of obsessed with this polish. The formula and the color are both amazing. You can check out A Study in Polish here. She has some great “fandom” collections.
