I picked this up in CVS at least eight times before I actually bought it. I’m still not sure if I actually really wanted it, or if it just stood out in the sea of jewel tones and glitters. Either way, it’s mine, and I like it a lot more than I thought I would.
This is Ladies in the Limelight from Nicole by OPI’s new additions to the Kardashian Kolors collection. In reality, it’s a bit more green than in the picture. For some reason it reminds me of the color of key lime pie – when they don’t add food coloring to make it green. I don’t know if I’d classify this as neon, but it’s definitely bright.
This is three coats (maybe four – sorry, I can’t remember!) with no base or topcoat. I don’t have much experience with yellow polish, but I heard it’s usually pretty difficult to get even, so for a yellow, this one’s pretty good – it was a little streaky and sheer, but if you apply thin coats, it goes on really well (I actually bought a peach NOPI polish at the same time and the formulas are identical).
