Butter LONDON Macbeth is a bright, red-pink and perfect for summer. I really don’t know why I bought this color, since I usually veer away from pinks, but I’m glad I did. Indoors it is slightly dusty and more subdued, but still bright. In sunlight (or the flash of my camera) it becomes the almost neon color you see below. And I love the name!
This is three coats with Essie Good to Go.
The formula is a little thin, and like most butter LONDONs I’ve tried, needed three coats to be completely opaque, but if slight sheerness doesn’t bother you, two is fine. However, this applies perfectly, so three coats is even easier than two with most other polishes. Love it!
EDIT: you can see how MacBeth compares to Essie’s Ole Caliente and Too Too Hot at the bottom of this post.
