Essie’s Tart Deco is a bright orangey-coral-peach color. It’s much more orange than Cute as a Button and similar in tone, but much darker than Essie’s A Crewed Interest (which I will try to show you soon).
When I first bought this, I hated it on me. I think maybe I wasn’t expecting it to be so bright. And I wasn’t that adventurous with my polish back then. A year later, and this is completely within my comfort zone. It may be my current obsession with all things orange, but I’m totally loving this right now!
This is three coats with Essie’s Good to Go. I think my formula has thickened up a bit and could probably use some thinner, so you might be good with just two coats.
Tart Deco came out with their Pop Art collection a few years back, but I’m pretty sure it’s now part of their permanent collection – it’s included in their bigger displays. So, pretty easy to find, and a great spring/summer color. This is a great option for pink lovers who want to dip their fingers into the orange trend, which I definitely think you should!
What do you guys think? Are you loving or hating the orange trend?
