Today I have another polish from the Essie Poppy-Razzi Collection for you. This one is called Lights, and it’s a blue-toned neon pink. I have mentioned before that I’m not really a fan of the color pink. This is an exception. It is a bright, barbie pink, and I still love it. Maybe its the neon.
The bottle color is a closer to how this actually looks, but the color changes a lot based on the lighting. I put this on last night, and thought it was a nice, bright pink. In the morning, when I finally saw it in the sun, I was pleasantly surprised to find it much more neon.
This is three coats with Essie Good to Go. All the polishes in this collection dry semi-matte, but topcoat really helps them glow. If you want a slightly more toned-down neon, you can skip the topcoat, or even add a matte one.
On a semi-unrelated note, I’ve been trying a few new hand poses, and want to know which you prefer. If you have an opinion, vote in the poll below. Examples of all of these can be found on my blog. I think I’m leaning towards the bottle shot.
