This is the first of three colors I picked up from Essie’s summer collection. Bikini So Teeny, the namesake of the collection, is a light blue that is almost periwinkle. There is a hidden white shimmer on this that is pretty much invisible on the nail, but can still be seen under bright light. I really love this color! I’ll definitely be getting a lot of use out of it this summer!
The closest I have to this is Deborah Lippmann’s Let’s Hear it for the Boy, and while they’re very similar, Bikini So Teeny is not quite as bright and has more purple tones. Sorry I forgot to do a comparison, but I’ll say that if you have one, you probably don’t need the other, unless you’re a blue polish lover. And if you missed out on Let’s Hear if for the Boy, which sold out a few days ago, this is a great substitute.
The formula was a little watery, but not too bad. This was three coats with no topcoat.
I also bought Mojito Madness and Fear or Desire from the Essie summer collection, and I’ll be showing them to you soon! What are your picks from the collection?
