Another polish from the China Glaze On Safari collection. This one is called Exotic Encounters and is a dusty medium teal. Despite the fact that there are a ton of teal nail polishes out there, this one seems pretty unique. It’s more green than blue, and very smoky looking, but still vibrant. It is different than what I was expecting, but I really love it!
The formula was a little thick, but easy to work with. This is two coats with Essie Good to Go. It dries a lot darker than the bottle color, more so than in the pictures. I was surprised to find that the closest polish I have to this is Essie Going Incognito.
I wore a base coat with this polish, and it still stained my nails pretty badly, so I’d recommend doubling up on your base when wearing this one.
I actually got complimented on my nails when I wore this to the grocery store 🙂
Exotic Encounters is a great polish (despite the staining), one of the more unique ones of the CG On Safari collection. I’ll say that if you like greens, you definitely need this one!
