Miss Fancy Pants

This is one of those polishes that I bought mostly for the name.  I mean, I don’t really need another taupe-y neutral from Essie.  Don’t get me wrong, I actually really love these colors, but I probably have at least three that are super close to this color.

Miss Fancy Pants is from Essie’s Fall 2012 collection, and, as you can see, is a great, light, neutral option.  It says “fall” without being too dark or foliage-hued.  It is somewhere between Chinchilly and Glamour Purse, only lighter.  I really like it!

Shown is three coats with Essie Good to Go.  Formula was a bit thick, but not unmanageable.

Like Stylenomics, Miss Fancy Pants does NOT match the promo picture (what’s up with that, Essie?), but it’s not that far off.  In some lights, MFP can look much more grey than this, but I couldn’t quite capture it in a picture, sorry.

I know they’re nothing new, but I do love all these ‘greige’ colors that have been coming out in fall and winter collections these past few years, and this is a good one.
