Supernova Springs

I have been hearing a ton about Hare Polishes, so a few weeks ago, I finally gave in and ordered a few.  Supernova Springs is one that I’ve wanted for months.  It is green glitter in an almost-black eggplant jelly base.  I love that the glitter is all the same size.  It is such an interesting combination – I got tons of compliments on this!

For this swatch, I went with one coat of Supernova Springs over OPI Siberian Nights, which matched the jelly base.  Yes, all that glitter was just one coat.  Formula was a bit thick, but not hard to work with.  Still, I think I need to get some thinner for this.

This polish totally reminds me of Wicked, which I love.  If you’re a regular reader, you know by now that glitter is not my favorite, but, in my opinion, this is glitter done right.  It’s super sparkly, but still subtle.  It catches the light, but isn’t blinding.  I can’t wait to try the other Hare Polish I got, The Monster!

I purchased these polishes from  I think Why So Igneous? and Cosmo Blossoms are going to be the next additions to my collection 🙂

P.S. Hare/rabbit shaped labels? GENIUS!
