Lately, I’ve been getting bored with my manis really quickly. I wore OPI’s Jade is the New Black (which I showed you yesterday) for maybe a day before I got the urge to add something to it. So I picked up an untried bottle on my desk, China Glaze Up All Night, and ended up with this. Not perfect, but I do really like it. Simple and (relatively) easy.
I first went around the nail with a striper brush to outline it, and then added the color blocks on random sides of my nails. In real life, that gorgeous shimmer in Up All Night wasn’t this visible, but it is a beautiful color. I got this in my dark blue shimmer buying spree a few weeks ago (seriously, I think I bought at least 6 new ones).
This may not me by favorite mani I’ve ever done, but I like the technique, and I think I might use it again with different colors. What do you think?
