Glitter and Bats

I think this is one of those times my idea didn’t quite pan out.  But they aren’t all that bad.  So I thought I’d share anyway.  I used another Halloween-themed polish, Sephora by OPI If You’ve Got it, Haunt it.  It’s a charcoal base with holographic glitter – so pretty.  In normal lighting, the primary colors are purple, orange, and green, which makes this one really awesome and different.

The weird blobby things you might see are my attempt at stamping bats.  I thought they would look awesome in black over the glitter, sort of a shadow effect.  While it did work, they weren’t as visible as I would have liked.  I used Bundle Monster plate 213 and Sinful Colors Black on Black.

I actually really love this polish.  It’s a great two-coat glitter that’s a bit different than anything I’ve seen before.  Last I checked, it was on sale at for $5.

  1. I have one I did with a black base and silver glitter painted on in design of spider web but just looked like blobs of glitter 😦 at least you can see your bats 🙂

  2. Too bad the bats aren’t really clear! The concept is awesome. I also like how it changes color in different lighting. Such a cool effect!
