Blue and Bronze

I wanted to do something a little bit different today, and decided to use two polishes that came out a while ago, but are new to my collection.  I’m not a huge fan of random glitter (unless it’s tiny), but I do like how it looks when it is deliberately placed.  I tried a few different designs, and I love how that made it a little bit more interesting.  But I have to admit, the polka dots are my favorite!

For these I used OPI Dating a Royal, which has been on my wish list for a while, and I am so glad I finally bought it – it’s beautiful!  And for the glitter, I used Sephora by OPI Traffic Stopper Copper, another polish I’d wanted for a while before I finally ordered it a few weeks ago.

I love this color combo – even though it was a bit difficult to photograph.  It reminds me of my school colors and the Ravenclaw house colors (from Harry Potter if you’re not familiar), so it was destined to be a favorite.  Let me know what you think in the comments below!  Do you like this glitter placement technique, or do you prefer just swiping it on?
